  Northwick - The ancient girls' higher secondary school was first established at North Madras in October 20th of the year 1847 , co-founded by the headmistress Miss Anderson. The school began with five girls, but was soon successful. This premises which brought out many graduates over years who is now blooming in the world of knowledge and settled with high profile in their carrier.

But is now in dire need of major repairs:

Northwick school has been creating changes in many lives by giving the never dying light of knowledge to the students of its'. Now it has been serving the society for the past 162 years. The mission is to be continued for the years to go and with the hope in your supports for our school. In commemoration of this milestone in our history,  we would like to start a drive for a very badly needed building fund.

The main building which is the heritageous building is now much damaged and not in use.And also there is no stage to conduct morning assembly and functions and it is in need of an auditorium which is a long pending requirement. Without these major neccessities, the school seems to be diminishing when compared to the surrounding schools which are more sophisticated and attractive.

Hence I plead all the alumni to remember your admirable school which made you stand proud in the society and help as much as you can. Please pray for our school and you are remembred in our prayers. Thank you for your consideration and support.

This building was already there when I graduated, so you can imagine how old it is! I'm sure many of you have fond memories of this building where our graduation ceremonies used to be held.
